Math - Investigation 1 & 2 Quiz Retake, Vocabulary Matching Activity
Math Plus - Investigation 3.4. In this investigation students will be determining for which types of triangles the Pythagorean Theorem is applicable.

Tuesday:
Math - Find-Someone-Who Review of classroom procedures, Investigation 3.1. In this investigation students will be finding a relationship between the areas of squares drawn on dot paper. They will deduce the Pythagorean Theorem.
Homework: pg 38 #1
Math Plus -Investigation 3 Reflection. Begin to describe Wheel of Theodorus project.
Wednesday:
Math - Investigation 3.3. In this investigation students will find the lengths of line segments using the Pythagorean Theorem.
Homework: pg 38 #5-6
Math Plus - Wheel of Theodorus Art Project. In this investigation students will gain a visual understanding of the estimated lengths of square roots as well as apply the Pythagorean Theorem. Students will gain a deeper understanding of these mathematical concept as well as demonstrate their creative side.
Thursday:
Math -Finish summarizing previous investigations and practice using the Pythagorean Theorem.
Math Plus - Finish their Wheel of Theodorus project. We will summarize students' findings as well as discuss the difference between rational and irrational numbers.
Friday: Baseball Day!
Math & Math Plus: Investigation 4.2. In this investigation students will be applying their knowledge of the Pythagorean Theorem to a baseball field. In this investigation students will use the Pythagorean Theorem to find the distances between bases on the field.
